Srinivasan (SKS) a former Big4 firm Senior Executive with more than
two decades of experience in IT and System Risk Management. The firm
offers Information Systems related consulting, implementation,
security design, audit and training services. The firm specializes
in providing custom developed training programs in such diverse
areas as IS Audit, CObIT, SAP Security & Controls, Project
Management and Network Security Management. A Certified Information
Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Security Manager
(CISM), SKS has the distinction of having led and managed numerous
Process Improvement, ERP Performance Assessment, Information Systems
Security and Risk Management projects. He has been involved in IS
Security Policy design and development projects, SAP Security &
Controls review engagements, BCP Projects and other IS Audit
engagements across the globe.
Apart from leveraging on experienced
IT and IS Audit professionals on its role, SKS Consulting also
utilizes services of experienced external professionals in IT and
Security domains on project-to-project basis. SKS Consulting adopts
different modes of resource deployment based on need including
training and using a company’s internal resources for project
execution as required. SKS, the President of the firm, has the
distinction of having led and managed numerous ERP Implementation,
Process Improvement and Information Systems Security and Risk
Management projects across the globe. Companies where he has
conducted Process Improvement, IS Audit, SAP R/3 review and Training
projects include Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies in such
diverse geographical locations as Brunei, Dubai, Kenya, Malaysia,
Netherlands, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, USA and Vietnam apart
from India. He has handled projects in both the services (banking,
insurance, software, BPO etc) and manufacturing industries
(Petroleum, Steel, FMCG, Automobile).
SKS has also managed such core IT
projects as drawing up of blueprint for setting up a shared services
center in

Europe
based MNC and implementing ERP solutions such as Oracle ERP and SAP
R/3. He has also managed numerous IT Process Improvement (ITPI)
projects both in the services and manufacturing industries. His IT
experience in the Financial Industry Sector spanning seven years
includes System Administration, setting up
Data
Centers
, System Analysis Design, Software Product Evaluation, Legacy System
implementation and rollouts as well as End-user training. He has
the unique distinction of having served on the CISA Certification
Board of ISACA (Information Systems Audit & Controls Association -
the pioneering international organization engaged in the task of
propagating IT Governance principles, IS Audit and IS Security
related certifications) continuously for a period of five years
(1999 – 2005). He has also assisted ISACA as an SME in developing
the 2006 CISM Review Manual and Training materials. ISACA has also
recognized him as SME who has contributed to its recent publication
“Security, Audit & Control Features – SAP R/3”.
